Absolute returned my call same day and came out the next day for an estimate. The crew showed up exactly when they said they would, they were fast & efficient. The owner came by to do our estimate around 8 pm at night in the rain because he was in the area and we were home. He seemed to care a lot about our plans and the work they did was fantastic. A team of about 6 or 7 guys came and had all the work done in a few hours. They removed 2 large half dead pines and a whole row of invasive trees on the edge of our property. Only issue was they accidentally cut our cable line, but the owner called us up and even offered to have his brother come do a temporary fix until our cable company could get out to fix it. We will be using them again.

Working with John and his team has been an absolute pleasure. He takes the time to explain everything in detail and is happy to provide options to meet our budget needs. If you're looking for a tree removal service, I cannot recommend John and his crew enough. Every step from the quote to the finished yard work was great. Not only did they help me with my three dead pines, but they were also able to offer advice on other plants in my yard and information about helping keep my yard healthy and in check all year round. His customer service was great and I had his team grind down a few stumps and cut up a two large logs. They stacked the cut up logs along my fence line. If I have more work I will call them back. I had a Cedar tree whose top half had died. I had Davey Tree come out and they looked at it and said they'd get back to me. That's the last I ever heard from them. I understand that it was a tiny job - but they still should've followed up. Absolute Tree Service came out and gave me a VERY reasonable quote on the spot. I gave the go-ahead and they were back in a few days to do the job. FANTASTIC!!! They did the work, cleaned up EVERYTHING and were on their way within an hour. PERFECT!!!

John came out soon after I called to give me a quote, and he and his crew came the next morning. He also warned me about 3 other trees that were going to cause me the same problem, and they were able to take care of those as well. The troubling trees, including the stumps were gone in no time.They also cleaned up after themselves really nicely. My property was left looking beautiful.Can't thank Absolute enough for the phenomenal, timely job they did, and I'll definitely be using them again and recommending them to anyone I know who needs tree work done.

We just moved into the area, and I was getting increasingly frustrated with the overgrowth all over the property and fallen limbs so close to our windows and vehicles every time the wind blew.
After a terrible storm pulled down some rather large and extremely heavy branches I knew we had to take care of this before winter hit. There was no time to wait. I called a few other tree companies, but no one got back to me. Until one day I went out to get the mail from the mailbox and there was a flyer from Absolute Tree Solutions stating they would be working in our area in the coming weeks...
I called up John and he answered right away and said he would swing by to take a look in a couple days. We had a lot of work to get done in a very short period of time. John came out to give us a quote on a Monday, put us on the schedule, and by that Thursday the entire property was brought up to where it should be. The guys all took the time to explain what they were doing when we had questions. They even provided tips and suggestions on how to maintain our ENTIRE property moving forward. We found our "tree guy" for life. I'm am beyond grateful that we were able to work with Absolute Tree Solutions, and I am truly excited for our future projects already in the works.

Great company, great crew, VERY clean work, and great prices! You would never even have known that they just took down a 90’ oak tree from my front yard, unless you knew it was there before. They were very careful around the homes and my neighbors property. John responds quickly and keeps you in the loop as well. I meet John in the parking lot of a local grocery store. He handed out his business card to a lady in the lot who requested one. I also asked for one on a whim because we needed some grossly overgrown arborvitae bushes removed from along our fence line. John responded to my email quickly. We set up a time and he was able to come give an estimate which I felt was great compared to the other estimates I received. Since the job was small he said he would fit it in within the next week. The next day the crew came out and did the work. He contacted me to let me know they were swinging by. The work was done great and they left the area clean and tidy. I really liked that John was a local guy with a local business. I plan to use them again for removal of two trees on my property.

Yesterday I came home to a team of guys working very hard. They removed two 60 foot trees and pruned and removed tree stumps all in one day. They cleaned up every log and trig. I couldn't be happier. John and his team were great to work with from beginning to end. I’m pretty picky in regards to trimming. They listened to all my concerns and I am very pleased with the results. We had about 11 trees pruned and/or raised. The trees now look excellent and I can’t wait to see how healthy they will look in the Spring! I had them come out for a massive cleanup of my property (about 6 years of overgrowth) including removing many invasive trees and saplings, grinding down stumps, pruning some of my larger trees. They are professional, friendly, and did an amazing job. Importantly, they know their trees and were able to recognize and identify which trees were native and which were invasive. Absolute Tree Solutions has removed two trees in a few months for us. One was an enormous willow tree that required a crane. I cannot say enough great things about this company. They were careful in taking down this tree and protected the grass from the machinery. The owner, John is so wonderful to work with. I cannot recommend John and his crew enough. They were so efficient that they removed seven 12' tall bushes while we were on a 10 minute coffee run. We had a combination of overgrown bushes/hedges and trees that were in desperate need of pruning and removal. His team had 2 trees (25' plus) and 12+ bushes removed in under 90 minutes, including a tree that had grown within inches of the roof without any issue or damage to the structure -- extraordinarily professional, seamless, and did impeccable work. Not only did the team remove dozens of overgrown plantings, but they also cleared the yard as if the items had never existed in the first place. If you need a reliable arborist, you've found them. He also had fantastic recommendations on landscaping -- we will be using him exclusively for anything in the future.

This is a professional, friendly, experienced, and caring company. They promptly provided a fair written estimate after visiting my home so I could explain exactly what I needed. The work was completed shortly after I gave approval which was to remove many bushes/grind down their stumps and grind down a large old tree stump. The staff efficiently performed the work especially when it came to the longer task of grinding down the old tree stump with a focus on removing many ground roots which was something I clearly wanted them to focus on. They then removed the shavings and brough in top soil so I could finally start growing grass again. The owner, John, stopped by during the work and I was impressed with his wanting to make sure the work was performed to my satisfaction. They left the work area clean. Overall, they exceeded my expectations and I can strongly recommend this company to anyone who can utilize the services they offer. I definitely plan on using them again.

I work in Safety and observed how they wore the correct safety gear, and took the time to properly set up and break down.The cost was great and they came back once to make sure we were 1000% happy. I have some incredibly large trees and expect to call them every 2-3 years for trimming. If you're not 5 stars for this company, something is wrong with you, not them.

Huge thanks to john and his crew! We had a very large silver maple in our yard that had split down center of the trunk. Was very close to our house, called john @ absolute tree and within 30 minutes he was out to inspect. Keep in mind we had called other tree services in the area and was given a 2+ day wait for an inspection and estimate... so without hesitation, Johns estimate blew away anybody else. Next day, his crew was out and the tree was now gone! Stump and all!
Winter came and now that spring had arrived, I decided to reseed but there was still roots I couldn’t remove. Called john again, same day within 1 hour had his crew out again to come and remove all roots. Best tree service hands down. I’ll be calling absolute to come and trim the rest of the trees we have. I used Absolute Tree Solution for the first time couple years ago when due to micro-burst one of the branches broke and landed on my roof. They came right away to remove branch from the roof and on top of that they trimmed all broken branches on a tree. Just last week I ask them to come and trim three huge trees (about 70 ft tall). They did excellent job, did it efficiently, and cleaned up before they left... and all for a very reasonable price. I honestly would recommend to anyone, they are professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Thanks John - great job!!!

I was researching landscapers and this company rose above the rest. I found some companies had no reviews and if they did they were 1 star ratings. Other companies had poor follow up and were not up front about their licensing/insurance. Absolute Tree has a great online presence. Their website is user friendly and it has multiple reviews-- people are obviously pleased with their work. John is great and makes sure to follow up with you before and after the job to make sure you are happy with everything. I will definitely be using them in the future. I had a tree pruned, some unruly bushes cleaned and trimmed up as well as some tree stumps removed.

Had a great experience with these folks from start to finish in topping 7 ornamental pear trees that were way overgrown in our small city yard. They offered very reasonable prices and a 'can do' attitude and were extraordinarily quick in turning around everything (scheduling visit for estimate, providing quote, following up, scheduling and finishing the work)--pretty unusual to get such great attentive service, I think! I had an 80 feet long tree in my back yard and I thought it will be impossible to cut it down since it was right between my house, garage and electrical wires. I contacted John from Tree Solution and we set up a time for a quote. He showed up on time and we agreed on a price, he worked around my schedule, his schedule, comed and comcast's schedules so we finally had a day for his crew to come and work on it. The day came and these guys did an amazing job, piece by piece the tree was disappearing. No damages, they cleaned everything after that. Sweet. I would recommend this company to anyone and will use in future if needed.

Did a professional job in removing the dying tree in front of our house (we had to leave early for work and he was gracious enough to stop by later to collect the payment)

I've used John and Absolute Tree for multiple jobs and I wouldn't think about using anyone else. John is super responsive, very knowledgeable about all things trees, and makes sure the job is done right. Extremely competitive prices, but more importantly the work is done with the customer in mind. The crew always leaves my yard in better shape then when they got there - I drive past houses where trees have been removed and there are still big pieces laying around, stumps sticking out, or the yard all tore up. Not so with Absolute. The last job I had John do was removing a huge Ash in our front yard...he came out Friday to quote it and was back on Monday to take it down. And all I had to do was lay down 2 pieces of sod the same day and it's like it was never there and work was never done. Couldn't recommend their service enough, they're the best in the business.

We had a 100 year old Green Linden fall on our house on August 10th 2020 after a tornado ripped through Lombard, Il, late in the afternoon. I called 10 companies, John, the business owner, called me right back. He was out early the next morning and immediately got the ball rolling. By early afternoon, his whole team was hard at work. It took two cranes to get the huge tree off of our house but it was surgically removed without causing any further damage. It was a sight to see!!!
